my kazen wani

My cousin Wani
My mother has 11 siblings. Six are girls. From these six aunties, 3 of them had passed away. And one of them was Bikjah, my mom second younger sis. When she still alive, she stayed in our rumah pusaka. She was a second wife to this quite we-dont-like-him guy who never be around. BikJah used to earn her own family livings and in fact, the hubby always asked her for money. All of the sudden, when still at a very young age, Bik Jah passed away left 3 small children. Everybody was so sorry for the children since they were still at tender age of 5, 13 and 17 or so. And all this while, they were living with BikJah with little attention from the father. That was when the episode of hardship in their lives. The elder, Zahir had to start work and live on his own, the second one, Nasir was sent to some boarding school, and the youngest, wani stayed from one place to another.

I remember Wani in her childhood was a very beloved cute girl and was so manja around our circle of family. My house to Bikjah's house was not that far, so we met up almost all the time. But, yesterday when I looked at Wani in the age of 15 with all sort of hardship she's been thru, I feel so sad and sorry for her. Imagine, right after her mother died, she had to lived with step mother who never like Bikjah, then.. she was sent to my other auntie. At that time, my family was still unstable, so we couldnt afford to take her with us. My auntie also didn't really glad to have Wani around and asked the father to take her back. Wani was sent to orphanage later. We didn't really hear about her nor her brothers for quite sometimes since they lived in Perak. When her step mother passed away, the father got married to other woman. (at times, we believed that the step mother used some curse to Bikjah coz she really loathed her).
and yelah.. no mother how good step mother, never be the same as own mother. once in a while especially during school holiday, Wani was sent to our home (thanks to Allah now that we have a comfortable house). The reason is because the father said that Wani doing nothing at home except fighting with the step brother. Furthermore, she is not doing well at school and the father doesnt mind if she drops school and goes to work. What do u expect from a teenage girl. Even I till now am still lazy at home and can juz watch tv all day.

I feel so sorry to Wani. She is okay, she a nice girl for girl like her. Alhamdulillah, she is not weak or becomes bad girl although she has a little love from the family. I dont mind she is stayng with us. But, my mother is quite uneasy, biasalah.. orang tua. So, now Wani is staying with my sister in Kajang and help her out at the shop. I pray that she becomes a strong and good muslimah. I hope my sister take a good care of her. An orphan is an amanah.
Wani, even if the whole world turns againts u, and there is nobody wants to accept u, please do come back to our house, Wak Giah's house. Even u are feeling awkward, we are glad to have u in our home. Because, u reminds us to our beloved Bikjah.
