It is man's things and man's world

Seriusly, it is definitely not easy to be working surrounded by men in their world, a so called techy and engineering stuff. Back in my college days in US, it was rare to see ladies student in Engineering school. Only few American women students, the rest were Indonesian, Russian and Malaysian. Yup, most of Malaysian women students were taking engine.

In tm, though there are so many women engineers, women bosses qualified in engineering yet in my division, it is still donimated by men. In fact, I was a second women to climb up the ladder there. Okay, not that I want to show off. I dun have not even a bit of intention to show off. But, Ive been through a couple of work crisis due to gender different. It is true I tell u. There were cases whereby people dont want to hear my opinion, people will point finger at me and my team, people will 'hentam' me in the email corum (korum apa eja aa) or in meeting. And these people are MEN. No, I am not feminist. But discrimination is still exist la believe me. It is challenging and at times, I almost give up. Nevertheless, Alhamdulillah I survive. Tak percaya?

This is one of the email in recent case (yesterday), and he is in my FB friendlist hahaha, I outside office work insyaAllah have good relationship with everyone.. so no harm, but work is work.

There are lot of confusion between Txxx & Tx regarding this migration activity. Hopefully, your team can explain further & update the status to Txxx & Tx team especially for Gxxx & Mxx. We have received lot of circulating email from Txxx that also cc to our higher management level. Right now, only our team is updating the status for any problem related to switch problem or any call difficulty.

Oh ya, at the end of this crisis yesterday, a big boss was praising me for my effort. There are some people and they are men who believes in me also. My niat going to work is because I love my work and because I want to contribute to the company to prove to others that we, Malaysian with this company can be successful. And my role in the working work is rooting back to blessing and support given by my husband. I cant deny that.. I can be what I am today without his blessing and support (cheeeewaaaahhhhh fewwwwwiiiittttt - sib baik dia tak baca blog gua, tp boleh jadi modal untuk mintak hadiah nie).
